Angela Davis Reading Group Boorloo / Perth:

In December, we will be running a reading group event, in Boorloo, where we discuss Angela Davis’s seminal work on labour and housework, “The Approaching Obsolescence of Housework: A Working-Class Perspective”. Join us at 2 pm on the 13th in Hyde Park to discuss how labour manifests itself outside of the public workforce, and how we can approach various forms of production from intersectional, Marxist perspectives, and how Marxism and feminism intersect in a meaningful way.

The reading group will be open to all, regardless of experience. If you are interested in anticapitalist concepts of labour, or even what Red Ant is all about, come along on the 13th of December! We would love to have you as part of the discussion.
