RedAnt Australia unequivocally condemns the latest acts of war-mongering by US imperialism and its allies, particularly the belligerent threats issued by US President Donald Trump against the sovereign nation of Iran. These provocations represent an intensification of imperialist aggression in West Asia, designed to secure control over the region’s resources, suppress anti-imperialist resistance, and impose the dominance of finance capital through military force.

It is highly deplorable that President Trump is now openly threatening to assassinate Iranian leaders and demanding Iran’s unconditional surrender. The open threats of assassination and the deployment of US military fleets to the region are not isolated acts. They are calculated moves in a broader imperialist strategy to destabilise and recolonise West Asia. These actions serve the interests of monopoly capital and the military-industrial complex. 

We further condemn the shameful statement from the G7 summit in Canada, which parrots the narrative of US and Israeli aggression while vilifying Iran. The G7, representing the most powerful capitalist states, continues to act as a cabal of imperialist powers committed to the subjugation of the Global South. Their silence on Israel’s brutal occupation, ethnic cleansing, and expansionist war campaigns reveals their complicity in crimes against humanity.

It is the chief responsibility of U.S imperialism through its backing of the zionist state of Israel. Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, ongoing occupation of Palestine, and repeated attacks on Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, and now Iran, are part of an imperialist agenda that can only be halted through the organised struggle of the world’s peoples.

The US and its imperialist partners, including the Australian Government, are using Israel as a forward base for imperialist domination across the region. This is a clear violation of international law and an affront to the self-determination of nations.

RedAnt Australia calls on all progressive and democratic forces, workers’ organisations, and peoples’ movements to unite in resolute opposition to this imperialist aggression. We stand in full solidarity with the people of Iran and the peoples of West Asia resisting occupation, war, and neo-colonial domination.

We demand:

• An immediate end to US and Israeli military threats and aggression against Iran.
• The withdrawal of all imperialist forces from West Asia.
• An end to Australia’s subservient foreign policy and military alignment with US and NATO interests.
• Support for the right of oppressed nations to resist and determine their own future, free from imperialist interference.

Only through mass struggle, anti-imperialist solidarity, and internationalist unity can we put an end to war, occupation, and capitalist exploitation.
