Palestine will not be silenced

Red Ant statement on the continuing Gaza genocide

To date, Israel holds the distinction of being the only country in human history to engage in a televised genocide broadcast to the entire world. The murderous Zionist regime, emboldened by the unwavering support of imperialist powers like the United States and the fascist Netanyahu-Trump alliance, has once again revealed its bloodthirsty nature by renewing its campaign of genocide in Gaza. The slaughter of 342 Palestinians today, including innocent children, women, and elders, is not an isolated act of violence; it is the continuation of a decades-long colonial project aimed at erasing Palestinian existence and extinguishing their right to self-determination.

This latest assault, launched with the explicit approval of Donald Trump’s administration, further exposes the hypocrisy of so-called ceasefire negotiations. The Zionist entity has never sought peace1; it seeks total subjugation. Its repeated sabotage of truce agreements, its brazen theft of Palestinian land, and its systemic policy of ethnic cleansing are all facets of the same imperialist machine. The resistance in Gaza, led by Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and the steadfast Palestinian masses, is not merely a reaction to occupation but a legitimate and legally valid defence of the Palestinian people.

Netanyahu, the butcher of Gaza, and his extremist regime have turned every hospital, school, and home into a target. Their goal is clear: to break the will of a people who refuse to surrender to imperialism and genocide. But let it be known to the world—Palestine will not be silenced.

The American empire, as the chief architect and sponsor of this genocide, bears full responsibility for Israel’s crimes and the impunity with which it commits them. Trump’s collusion with Netanyahu to greenlight this massacre is yet another stain on humanity, perfectly illustrating the hypocrisy of the American “rules-based order” that governs the world: rules for the oppressed but not the oppressor. So-called Western democracies that parrot hollow condemnations while enabling Israel’s war machine are equally complicit in the slaughter.

The Australian government’s alliance with Israel through its security and military ties with the US, its military trade with Israel, and political cover makes it a genocide collaborator. Its silence is consent; its rhetoric of “balance” is cowardice. Palestinians face systemic racism, censorship, and gaslighting that equates their liberation with “terrorism”, all the while anti-Palestinian hate crimes since October 2023 have seen a 25% spike, a direct result of state-sanctioned dehumanisation.

As APAN’s Nasser Mashni states: “There is a deep-rooted systemic racism that persists in this country”—a racism mirroring Israel’s colonial violence. This is not “discrimination” but a political project to erase Palestinian voices and normalise extermination.

To the peoples of the world: We call on you to stand with Gaza. Amplify the voices of the oppressed. Boycott, divest, and sanction the Zionist entity. Flood the streets in protest. Pressure your governments to cut ties with this criminal state. The Palestinian resistance is not terrorism, it is the heartbeat of a nation fighting for liberation.

We demand Australia:

  1. Expel Israeli diplomats and shut down their embassy, a hub for espionage and genocide advocacy.
  2. Sever all ties with the Zionist entity including military, economic, political.
  3. Sanction Israel under the Genocide Convention and prosecute its leaders internationally.

From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free. The blood of martyrs fuels our struggle, and no amount of Zionist brutality can extinguish our collective resolve. Victory is inevitable.

Glory to the Resistance.

Justice for the Martyrs.

Free Palestine.
